Impacted Canine
Some of our patients have a problem with the “canine” teeth – the pointed teeth to the side of your front top and bottom four teeth. When the canine teeth (or cuspids) are impacted, they cannot erupt through the gums properly, and may appear far higher on the gums.
This condition can be treated by our oral surgeons at Hillock Family Dentistry with a custom treatment to pull the teeth downward into the correct position. If you or your child have canine teeth that appear too high on the gums, we offer treatments to correct them. While it requires some time to reposition these teeth, the results are well worth it!
